Logo design 36 Days of Type is a project that invites designers to express their particular interpretation of the letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet. It’s a yearly open call where participants are challenged to design a letter or number each day for 36 consecutive days. I participated in the project in from 2021 to 2023, with my designs featured by 36 Days of Type and Adobe. My design intention was for each submission to feel like a classic logo trademark, the sort of trademark you’d see on the side of a train or pressed into concrete. They all have a geometrical foundation, and all work in one colour. I worked with a restricted colour palette each series. The result is a set of marks that feel related, but could work as individual, authoritative and timeless logos.
