As a former student of the school, the new identity and rebrand for Chevalier College was a special project to work on. Chevalier’s always stood for more than academics. It’s built on care for the whole child – grounded in community, compassion and faith. The brief was to refresh the current identity, but ensure these values endured in an updated mark. Longevity rather than “modernising” was the strategy applied to the design. Moving away from the more illustrative styles of previous Chevalier logos, we put a focus on strong geometry and simple forms. This resulted in an authoritative final design that brought the knight, heart and cross into clearer focus. It’s a mark built on the past, but designed to hold its shape and meaning into the future. The project also included new shields for each of the school houses. A full rebrand, new website, school signage and new uniform will continue to be rolled out over 2026 and 2027.
